06/29/10 - Athletic Administration

The Quinnipiac University Department of Athletics and Recreation placed 72 student-athletes on the 2010 Northeast Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. Of the 72 student-athletes honored with a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher, 27 were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, which highlights those student-athletes with a GPA of 3.75 or higher.  (full story)

The big day: Q vs. #7 Stanford. We woke up ready to give it our all and hopefully get more games than Nick's prediction: 8 games. At breakfast, we all ate at Hobee's - still can't get a simple breakfast but oh well. I could sense the level of focus of my teammates as we traveled to the tennis center. There was more fire in all of our eyes; ready to make some noise in the national spotlight.  (full story)

05/15/10 - Men's Tennis

Led by six singles points by James Kwei (Dedham, Mass.) and four more by John Hughes (Springfield, Mass.), the Quinnipiac University men's tennis team tallied a program-record 24 game victories, but fell to No. 7 Stanford, 4-0, in the NCAA Tournament First Round Saturday afternoon at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
