Quinnipiac baseball junior Neil Mammele (Madison, Conn.) will participate in Swim Across America's Long Island Sound Swim on Saturday, July 24. The one-mile swim is a yearly fundraiser to benefit breast cancer research and treatment.  (full story)

06/29/10 - Athletic Administration

The Quinnipiac University Department of Athletics and Recreation placed 72 student-athletes on the 2010 Northeast Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. Of the 72 student-athletes honored with a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher, 27 were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, which highlights those student-athletes with a GPA of 3.75 or higher.  (full story)

Former Quinnipiac baseball standout Pat Egan '06 was promoted within the Baltimore Orioles organization, moving up from the Double-A Eastern League's Bowie (Md.) Bay Sox to the Triple-A International League's Norfolk (Va.) Tide. Egan made his Triple-A debut on Monday, June 28 against the Louisville Bats  (full story)
